Benoni accident left one injured and one dead

02 February 2014 A man was killed and one person was injured when their car had collided into a tree in Benoni near
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann
said when they arrived on scene they found that a motor vehicle had collided
with a tree.
“The driver of the vehicle was entrapped in
the vehicle and found to be in a serious condition.
Services had to make use of the Jaws of
Life to remove the driver from the vehicle after which the driver was treated
on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.” Steinmann
added.
She also said the female passenger of the
vehicle was found to be in a critical condition.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident
and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
