The build-up for Friday evenings 2010 World Cup draw has become virtually tangible as the excitement mounts about who will challenge who in the various sections.
High praise for Danny Jordaan and Irvin Khoza was the order of the day when Archbishop Thabo Cecil Makgoba, on behalf of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, wished them everything of the best for the spectacle.
He also thanked them and their committees for the hard work they have put into bringing one of the biggest sporting events in the world to South Africa.
Makgoba added that the impact on the environment and the safety of all who will be in South Africa next year should not be forgotten in all the excitement.
