In its Aids Day message, the Municipal Workers' Union, SAMWU, has congratulated those stood who stood firm against what it terms “the tsunami of denial and told the truth about Aids”.
The union says it honours the few politicians who said that the arguments stemming from the Presidency and the Department of Health were “misguided, harmful and irresponsible”.
SAMWU says for many generations to come there will be thousands of families made up of children only.
