The National Employer’s Association of South Africa on Tuesday said the current education system is failing young people in preparing them to enter the formal job market.
This as the matric results of 2013
were released on Tuesday with the pass mark nationally at 78.2%.

said things like the Youth wage subsidy should be made a reality so that they
can assist in the job creation and skills development for the youth. Because
these matrics who have passed in 2013 will join the longest list of
Van der Walt added that government
need to focus on quality education system whereby there are qualified teachers
and the schools have all the necessary resources.
