NSRI rescued two men and a yacht at Saldanha Bay

The National Sea Rescue Institute today rescued a yacht AVA and two crew members off shore Saldanha Bay. 

The two people rescued had minor injuries and NSRI paramedics treated them on the scene. 

The rescue mission took two days to complete. 

NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said the yacht AVA was towed to shore by the Smit Madura and sailed into a port in Saldanha Bay.

Lambinon added that NSRI CEO Dr Cleeve Robertson has commended everyone who was part of this major rescue.
