69 graduates produced by Sactwu bursary fund

The South African Clothing and Textile Workers Union through its bursary fund programme has produce 69 gradates in 2013. 

These graduates are in various fields including chemistry scientists, ICT specialists, engineering and nursing specialists. Sactwu’s National Bursary Fund Officer Desigee Pillai said these graduates will be making a contribution to the national skills base. 

Pillai said 726 students were funded bursary at higher education institutions nationally and a total of 92% of bursars were studying at public education institutions.

“Of these students 8% of the students were studying at private institutions” Pillai added.
