Mossel Bay SAPS seeks assistance from public in finding a man and his nine-year-old daughter

Mossel Bay police are searching for a man and his nine-year-old daughter who went missing last week.

According to the police, Jacob and Yaleen Mare were last seen when Jacob went to fetch Yaleen from school in Hartenbos on Monday the 14 of October.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Wesley Twigg, says no one saw Jacob and the child again after he picked her up from school.

Preliminary information suggests that Jacob picked up Yaleen from her school in Hartenbos on Monday 14 October. They have not been seen since, said police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg on Tuesday.
