Golden Arrow Bus Services says it will be increasing its passenger fares by 8% as from the 26 of December.
Golden Arrow Bus Services spokesperson Bronwen Dyke says since the last increase which was last year the company has been able to absorb the expensive monthly increase of diesel prices but not it cannot longer sustain this any longer.
“The increase is relatively low compared to the magnitute of the increases that the company has faced over the past few months.
“Passengers using 10 ride clipcards, which are valid for 14 days, can postpone paying the increased fares until January next year by purchasing their clip cards on 25th December 2011,” said Dyke.
