Two fishermen from Atlantis on the West Coast drowned when their crayfish bakkie capsized in a rough and choppy sea off St Helena Bay yesterday.
The search for one of their companions continues.
The crew of another fishing boat, Big John, spotted the skipper of the bakkie, 29-year old Rundolf Hendricks, clinging to the hull of the upturned small boat.
Divers later found the bodies of the deceased entangled in fishing nets under the capsized bakkie.
An Air Force helicopter assisted in the search for the missing man, who is presumed drowned.
