The Fuel Retailers’ Association has warned of a shortage of certain fuel types in Gauteng and Cape Town.
The FRA’s Reggie Sibiya says some service stations have reported shortages over the past week.
Top of the list are diesel and 95-octane unleaded petrol - especially of BP and Caltex’s products.
Sibiya claims that oil companies are not providing fuel retailers with a proper explanation for the shortages.
In the Free State, some Bloemfontein residents are without water today after a pipe supplying one of the Mangaung Metro’s main water reservoirs burst.
Workers hope to repair the damage by six this afternoon. Brandkop is the worst affected.
