Limpopo police and game warders are searching for rhino poachers after two separate incidents in which animals were killed in the province.
The police’s Ronel Otto says a rhino cow and her calf were shot at Hoedspruit.
The killed cow’s horn was removed and the wounded calf is being treated.
At Musina, a black rhino bull was killed and dehorned.
arlier this week, SANParks revealed that a total of 405 rhinos had been poached this year before the latest killings.
