A group of Mpumalanga families will receive houses today as Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe ends the 16 Days of Activism Campaign on No Violence against Women and Children.
The event is underway in Chrissiesmeer near Ermelo.
The houses are going to identified families with women, people with disabilities and vulnerable children who are struggling to survive.
This year’s campaign focused on increasing awareness of the devastating effect of domestic violence on women and children.
