Pandor: calls for the extra personal to deal with high volumes of travellers

The Minister of Home Affairs, Naledi Pandor has called for the deployment of extra personnel and increase working hours at all national ports of entry: land, sea and airports to deal with expected high traveler volumes during the Easter weekend.

Department Spokesperson Ronnie Mamoepa said these efforts were complimented by the visits of Minister Pandor and Director-General Mkuseli Apleni to Beitbridge and Lebombo ports of entry respectively.

Mamoepa added that over half a million of travelers who have processed in and out in South Africa without any breaches at all national ports of entry by the Home Affairs.

Mamoepa further added that this comes to the context of the reach and directives of Naledi Pandor.
