One man died in a head-on collision accident in Grabouw

An accident outside Grabouw on Sunday afternoon left one person dead. 

It is believed that a white Opel Corsa bakkie and a Mazda 323 collided into each other on the N2 near Sir Lowry’s Pass. 

Western Cape EMS Spokesperson Robert Daniels said the driver of the Mazada was killed on impact and the three passengers inculding a mother, child and a brother were seriously injured and taken to Helderberg Provincial Hospital.

The exact cause of the accident is unknown and will be investigated by police.
