The Presidency said the Presidential
Hotline has made tremendous progress since it was established back in
2009.
Participation from the public has increased
by 39 percent in 2009 to 94 percent in 2014.
Presidential Spokesperson Mac Maharaj said
regular analysis is done of the types of complaints received and the
responsiveness of departments in solving the compliant.
Maharaj said the hotline was set up to
assist citizens to resolve queries relating to government services, more than
180 cases had been resolved between 2009 and 2013 nad the president is pleased
with the progress of the hotline.
