Western Cape MEC of Finance,
Economic Development and Tourism Alan Winde launched the first African Finance
Studies Institute.
This is the first academic institute
dedicated to producing a crop of African finance sector professionals on the
continent.
MEC Winde said the institute has set
its sights on becoming the global leader in post-graduate finance studies
relating to Africa .
Winde said South
Africa Africa have a
major role to play in the economy of the continent.
