An 11 year old KwaZulu-Natal boy was killed on the eve of his twelfth birthday when the car he was travelling in was involved in a horror crash in South Coast Road, Mobeni, this afternoon.
The driver of the car was also killed.
Two other people were injured, one man seriously.
Netcare911 spokesperson Jeff Wicks says the driver of the car apparently lost control of the vehicle before it careened into oncoming traffic.
Another car and a truck were also involved in the incident.
