Police are seeking the assistance of the public in tracing two children who went missing on Friday.
6 year old Okuhle Maqhubela and her brother Mabaxole from Mooi-plas East London went missing in Laingsburg Shell Ultra City garage when the Toyota Quantum they were traveling in stopped at the garage to fill up petrol.
They went out to relieve themselves but never came back.
The siblings were coming to their mother here in Cape Town, Phillipi.
Police’s Inspector Lindikhaya Mkhontwana says when the driver noticed they didn’t come back he immediately called the police.
“Okuhle was last seen wearing a Pink tracksuit and Mabaxole a Maroon one,” said Mkhontwana.
Anyone who can assist can contact Laingsburg police station on 023 551 8211.
