SADTU congratulates matric class of 2013

The South African Democratic Teachers Union has congratulated the matric class of 2013 for obtaining a pass rate of 78.2 percent. 

Sadtu General Secretary Mugwena Maluleke said the are still many challenges in the education sector including language barrier and school infrastructures.

Maluleke said they want to thank the parents for supporting their children during these years.

“We want to take this opportunity to praise the teachers who have attended to these learners from the foundation phases to the final year and, in most cases, against very unfavorable conditions.

We want to urge learners to pursue their careers in the institution,” Maluleke added.
