New Covid – 19 Cases identified in South Africa Over the Past 24 hours

The department of health has reported that a cumulative number of Covid – 19 cases identified in South Africa over the past 24 hours are sitting at 2,9 million with 300 new cases reported. 

Eleven more people have died after contracting the virus, taking South Africa's known death toll to 88,925.

On the vaccine front, 21.3 million jabs have been administered in the country so far. Teenagers aged 12 years to 17-year-old forming part of those vaccination numbers in the country have been made eligible to take their vaccines by government from the past week.
