The City’s Water and Sanitation Department will be doing urgent repairs to the 300mm diameter water supply main to Robinvale in Atlantis on Tuesday
This work involves the replacement of a leaking pipe.
The water supply will be shut off from 10:00 and is
anticipated to be restored by 16:30.
Residents and businesses are advised to store water in
clean, sealed containers for use during this period.
They should also ensure that their taps are closed
during this period to avoid water loss or damage when the supply is restored.
Two water tankers will be roaming through the area to
provide water where required.
The City regrets any inconvenience caused, and has
said it is imperative that it maintains its water supply infrastructure for the
benefit of its consumers.
