The City of Cape Town today said it will be cutting down on expenditure in the next financial year.

Deputy Mayor Ian Neilson said money needs to be spent on more urgent service delivery like housing.

Neilson added that they will be cutting over R100 million on general expenses including travel, entertainment and the use consultants.
