The African National Congress in the Western Cape today held a service delivery protest in the City Centre with a very low turn out.

The march started at the Keizergracht Street and headed to the Civic Centre.

The ANC is calling for housing for backyarders, proper water and sanitation, cheaper electricity and stop the evictions.

The Western Cape Premier Helen Zille was expected to accept the memorandum but did not come out.

ANC Secretary in the province Songezo Mjongile said this shows that the City leaders do not care about the people of this province.
