Bogus police officers arrested in Pietermaritizburg

Two bogus policemen were over the
weekend arrested by the South African Police Service in Pietermaritizburg.
Just before the arrest the two
suspects were about to rob a house along Boom
Street .
Police believe that this could be a
bigger syndicate and investigation continues.
Police Spokesperson Captain Thulani
Zwane said it is alleged that they pretended to be police officers and
approached a house owner in the area and took R300 and the later notified
police, the police responded and arrested the bogus police officers.
