Local soccer fans have deserted SA national squad in droves over the past few months.

This has been because of Bafana Bafana’s poor performances.

Soccer world regulationg body Fifa reports that South Africans are buying far more tickets for matches involving Brazil and England.

World Cup organising committee chief executive Danny Jordaan says it is almost unbelievable the way Brazil and England are enjoying more popularity than the home side.

He says that in Germany all the tickets for the German team’s games were sold out first.

Meanwhile, those fans who do still support Bafana Bafana are anxiously awaiting tomorrow night’s draw to see who Bafana Bafana will face in the first round.

President Jacob Zuma will be at the draw in Cape Town to lend Bafana Bafana all the support he can.

The feeling in the team can be assessed through former captain Lucas Radebe who has admitted that everyone is hoping Bafana Bafana will be placed in a weak group.
