Two people died and three others were injured when a car overturned on the R102 in Faure.
“On arrival of emergency services, they found a girl, believed to be in her mid teens, lying dead next to the vehicle. A man in his early twenties was found around sixty metres from the vehicle and was also dead on arrival,” said ER24 spokesperson Tristan Wadeley.
A 17 year old boy was found about twenty metres from the vehicle in a serious condition.
He was taken to Tygerberg Hospital by an ER24 ambulance. Another male patient, in a moderate condition, was taken to Helderberg Hospital.
The cause of the incident is unclear but police are investigating the matter.
