The South
African National Taxi Council (Santaco) said today that taxi fare increases can
be expected if the fuel price continues to rise.
The Department of Energy announced last week that the fuel prices might increase this week.
The fuel
price increase of 30 cents is expected tomorrow.
Santaco`s
Mvuyisi Mente said that they will call a special meeting to discuss the
possibilities of increase in taxi fares.
