A corruption trial involving two high profile KwaZulu-Natal ANC politicians will continue in court in October 2012.

The accused include
KwaZulu-Natal legislature speaker Peggy Nkonyeni and Economic Development MEC Mike Mabuyakhulu.

The pair and two other people are accused of bypassing actions when awarding tenders to a company named Intaka to supply water purification plants to provincial hospitals.

The National Prosecuting Authority’s Mthunzi Mhaga says a pre-trial is underway in July.
