Some gay and lesbian activists in KwaZulu-Natal are requesting an apology from King Goodwill Zwelithini about same sex relationships.

King Goodwill Zwelithini delivered a speech on Sunday commemorating the battle of Isandlwana near Dundee.

Zwelithini stated in his speech that he was against same sex relationships.

Some of the people who attended said the comments made by King Goodwill Zwelithini reflected homosexuality as not part of the Zulu culture.
