Parents concerned about safety of children

After a shoot out that occurred at a primary school in Johannesburg yesterday morning, a request by concerned parents was given to the Education Department to ensure that they adhere to the safety of the children.

The primary school was the recent target of an organisation operating in the Johannesburg area and responsible for the increase in theft of cars at primay schools and shopping centres.

The police were alerted by a security guard yesterday morning that a suspicious man was lingering outside the school premises.

When the police arrived the man started shooting at them.
