Car still not found

No traces have yet been found of a car that has been washed off a bridge on the Blyde River near Hoedspruit on Thursday.

Limpopo police say the Blyde River Dam is still overflowing, making it impractical to search the river with jet skis.

Police divers and an Air Force helicopter are assisting search teams who are patrolling the banks of the river.

Police have not been able to determine how many people had been in the car and no-one has been reported missing.
