Police investigating a murder in Bishop Lavis

Western Cape Police are investigating a case of murder after the body of a man was found in Modderdam Road, Bishop Lavis today.

Police Spokesperson Captain FC Van Wyk said police were alerted to a gun shooting incident in the area this morning and on arrival on the scene they found the body of a 19 year-old man with a gun shot wound to his chest.

The man died on scene due to injuries sustained

Van Wyk said a murder docket has been opened no one has been arrested for the murder.

Van Wyk urged members of the public to come forward with any information by calling Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
