Minister Angie Motshega denies allegations that she is targeting SADTU

In a statement, the Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga has denied allegations made by the South African Democratic Teachers Union, that she is targeting the teachers union.

Following a preliminary report of a Task team, appointed to investigate the Jobs for cash allegations currently underway. Ministerial spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga explains.

”The minister of basic education has denied reports that she is targeting a particular teacher”.
                                                                                         

He concluded...“Has emphasised the fact that task team she set up was investigating all the unions, but also any individuals that might be belonging to the Union who might have done something wrong and investigation involved the participation of teacher Unions
