Following the move by the Economic Freedom Fighters in regards to the intimidation of
journalists who work for Gupta-owned media organisations.
The party came under
fire from the media. Busi Mtabane communications manager at Right2Know
said
”The EFF just needs to apologise for this latest transgression, they
must withdraw their decision to ban journalist, and clarify their commitment to
media freedom and the rights of media workers, irrespective of the serious
concern of the ownership AD independence of the media organisations”.
