Education Department in the EC appointed more teachers

The Eastern Cape Education Department has appointed 98 new teachers to fill vacant posts in Port Elizabeth's northern areas and Uitenhage. This emerged during a media briefing held by Education MEC Mandla Makhuphula and the Acting HOD, Sizakele Nontsikelelo Natshilapala.

“Eastern Cape Education department has appointed 98 Educators, in the Uitenhage District”, said Mandla Makhuphula.

“Necessarily we were looking for 143 unfortunately other applicants felt shot to meet the recommendations”, Makhuphula added.


“We are still looking for others to fill the post”, He concluded.
