Two accidents this morning leaving one dead and three injured

Two people were injured in a collision involving truck and at least five cars on the N1 north by 14^th Avenue this morning.

“ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the truck and some of the cars on the side of the road as well as some cars still on the road”, said Chitra Bodasing.

“One person who was found walking on scene was found to have sustained minor injuries, a woman who was the passenger in one of the vehicles was assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries”, added Bodasing.

“The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations”, said Bodasing.

Meanwhile a man was killed after he crashed the vehicle he was driving into a pole in La Rochelle Road, in Turffontein area, in the early hours of this morning.

“When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they found the man trapped in the vehicle, He sustained multiple severe injuries, He was declared dead”, said Bodasing.

“Exact details surrounding the incident are unknown, authorities were on scene for further investigation”, Concluded Bodasing.
