Two people burnt to death and a boy suffered burn wounds in a shack fire in Browns Farm, Phillipi today.
City of Cape Town fire and rescure service spokesperson Liezl Moodie said firefighters had responded to the blaze in the early hours of the morning in Bhobhoyi street.
The minor was receiving medical treatment. Meanwhile today, 20 shacks were destroyed by a blaze in NY1, Gugulethu, leaving 50 people homeless.
