The mother of the
six month old baby who was left in a
taxi on Good Friday has been arrested.
The baby known as
Ngcwele Sipayile was left in a taxi at Philippi East taxi rank.
29 year-old was
arrested at her house in Phillipi.
The child was found
in Khayelitsha.
Police Spokesperson
FC van Wyk said the baby was found on Tuesday and is being looked after in a
safe house.
Van Wyk said that the baby was found safe and
alive, and is under the care of her grandparents.
