Political parties condemns the Boston blast

Several political parties have condemned the Boston Marathon bomb blast which killed three people and left several people injured and over 140 more were injured when the devices went off near the finish line. 

President Barack Obama has vowed to get to the bottom of the incident and deal with those responsible.

Two South Africans who were spectators at the marathon who were also injured have since been released from hospital.

The ANC’s Spokesperson Jackson Mthembu said there can be no justification for such a despicable attack.

Mthembu added that this needs to be condemned by all civilized world.

“We call the United States to leave no stone unturned in getting close and leading to arrest of these perpetrators” Mthembu added.

Mthembu also said they call world organization led by the United Nations to also act in unity in condemning this and ensuring that the perpetrators are brought to book.

Meanwhile the Democratic Alliance said the bombing was an unacceptable act of senseless violence that the party condemns.

DA National Spokesperson Mmusi Maimane said “we want to send our support to South Africans who were injured in array we call upon our local structures to be able to send much as they can in order that we can expect a recovery of South Africans who were stuck in this incident.”

"We are deeply concerned to about what is happening in this particular context we them a speedy recovery and hope we can do everything that we can to deal with this issue.”
