The body of a 29 year old man discovered in Gordon’s Bay

The National Sea Rescue Institute on Monday afternoon recovered a body of a 29-year-old man who went missing on Saturday afternoon. 

According to NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon the man was reported missing by his family after he failed to arrive home that evening. 

The body was found down a cliff between Gordan’s Bay and Kogel Bay and his wrecked car was found near Kogel Bay. 

Lambinon said during the search they the vehicle and then found the body that was later handed over to the forensic services.

He added that police have opened an inquest docket in the incident.
