Correctional Services has confirmed that apartheid assassin Eugene de Kock is being considered for parole.
The hearing was supposed to take place yesterday, but was postponed.
De Kock was dubbed “Prime Evil”.
He and other hit squad killers like Ferdi Barnard became eligible after the North Gauteng High Court ruled in July that anyone sentenced to life imprisonment before October 2004 had to automatically be considered for parole after serving 13 years and four months of their sentence.
