Western Cape Minister of Transport and Public Works Robin Carlisle is challenging motorists to answer the call on the ‘Be a hero’ advertising campaign over the festive season.
The campaign aims to allow motorists to drive responsibly. The campaign will be broadcast to over two million radio listeners as well as billboard and distribution of pamphlets.
A hero does not speed or drive under the influence of alcohol. It is also said that a hero understands that speed and drunk driving kills and disables people.
The most exciting part of being a hero is that persons can literally save lives. The Western Cape’s Government strongly believes working alongside our citizens can prevent accidents.
