are urged to report those who throw cigarette ends out their windows.
Western Cape Premier Helen Zille warned on a social network site that drivers tossing their cigarette butts out the window would be tracked down.
In 2006, a British man was charged with culpable homicide after he was accused of starting a blaze on a mountain.It then killed an elderly British woman. It is said he flung a lit cigarette onto dry grass. He was later acquitted.
