The Department of Defence in the Western Cape is urging the public about a job scam.

The South African National Defence Force Spokesperson Siphiwe Dlamini said this is not the first time that they have busted a scam of this nature.

It is alleged that the members of the public are asked to pay money in order to get a job through the Military Skills Development.

Dlamini said the Department has never asked people to pay money to secure jobs.
