Police in George confirmed today that both the man and woman found dead in an apartment, had gunshot wounds to their heads.
Annemarie van Loggenberg and Willie Venter’s bodies were found in a locked apartment on Tuesday.
Police are suspecting that Venter might have shot Loggenberg first before killing himself.
The Police’s Bernadine Steyn said that a case of murder has been opened.
She added that police noticed a body in the locked apartment before they broke the window to get inside.
Steyn then said police discovered a body of a female on the bed with a single gunshot wound to the head.
Steyn ended off by saying they found the body of the 39-year-old man on the floor near the bed.
