A stampede led to the death of a woman at the University of Johannesburg
The university personnel said they can not be held liable for the death as this occurred outside their premises.
The metro police have also distanced themselves on the matter by saying they were trained to do traffic control not crowd control.
This comes after the higher education minister Mr. Blade Nzimande held a special briefing at the university.
