Zuma gets tough with detractors

President Jacob Zuma has sent a stern warning to those in the party who defend wrong doing by other members of the party.

While addressing the ANC centenary celebrations in East London, Zuma said discipline was crucial, irrespective of the position ANC members held.

His warning came soon after ANC treasurer Mathews Phosa had seemingly defended errant Youth League leaders by saying the ANC was “no dustbin for comrades”.

Zuma added that there was no future in the party for ill-disciplined members and those who defended them.
