Home Affairs extends operating hours on Monday

The Department of Home Affairs systems are back online after it went offline nationwide on Friday, impacting almost all services offered through its offices.

In a statement the department said that it will extend its operating hours on Monday.

"To compensate for those affected by the offline system, Home Affairs said that operating hours at its offices would be extended on Monday evening,'' said the departments spokesperson Siya Qoza.

" The Department of Home Affairs will operate for extended hours on Monday the 4th of April, 2022. The offices will operate until 6.30pm in the evening and everyone who is in the office by that time will be assisted," added Qoza.
