Samora Machel police finds burnt body on railway tracks

Samora Machel police are investigating a case of murder after a body of an unknown person was found burnt beyond recognition this afternoon

The police’s Joseph Swartbooi says the motive of the attack is community retaliation

‘’The circumstances surrounding a murder in eyandini informal settlement in Samora Machel are being probed. Samora Machel police attended a crime scene at around 12:30 on Monday afternoon.’’

‘’Upon arrival of the crime scene, they found a body of an unknown person, burnt beyond recognition laying between the railway tracks. The victim were declared deceased by medical personnel. The motive of the attack is community retaliation,’’ added Warrant officer, Joseph Swartbooi
