Western Cape police are on the hunt for a Grade 12 learner who fatally stabbed an 18-year-old general assistant at Blackheath High School.
The incident which occurred on Wednesday, follows an

scuffle was about.
WCED spokesperson, Bronagh Hammond, said counselling was
provided to the school on Thursday morning.
‘’ The WCED has been made aware of the incident. The
WCED provided counselling support to the school this morning. Ongoing support
will be provided. This is a tragic incident with the loss of a young man's
life, and damage done to another, in the last few weeks of his schooling
career.’’
Principal, Antonio Michaels, issued a letter to parents confirming the incident, saying ''it was an isolated incident'' and that ''learner safety was never at risk.''
